Dr. D. J. Bhaumik is a consultant GI and Laparoscopic surgeon with over 30 years of experience in general and advanced laparocopic surgery including oncological procedures. He specialises in performing operations GI (Onco Surgery), Laparoscopy, General Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery. He is a highly acclaimed surgical teacher and had been national and international faculty on numerous surgical conferences. Having a number of national and international publications to his credit. Dr Bhaumik is presently a Governing Council Member of the Association of Surgeons in India. At present he is the treasurer of ASOMA and is associated with other surgical bodies like IAGES and AMASI
