Dr Sahil Bagai has joined as Head of Nephrology and Renal transplant Medicine at Fortis
Manesar, Gurugram. He hails from a humble background but with sheer perseverance,
honesty, skills and mental clarity managed to complete his graduation (MBBS) and
post-graduation (M.D Medicine) from prestigious medical colleges in Delhi. He had a
short stint in Medanta, Gurugram before he successfully managed to enter one of the
most prestigious Indian institute -Post graduate Institute of Medical Education and
Research, PGIMER, Chandigarh for his nephrology training. He had a very successful
training at PGIMER, Chandigarh mastering his subject and gaining vast experience esp
in the ´Çüeld of transplantation. After completing his DM (Nephrology) he joined as an
associate consultant in Max Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, Delhi. He worked for closer
to 7 years in the same institute honing his clinical skills before he agreed to move on to a
different ship. He has a vast experience of over 2000 renal transplantations.Including both ABO compatible and ABO incompatible. He has been a through academician throughout his medical career
which now spans over 2 decades. He has over 25 publications in various indexed national and international journals as
´Çürst/corresponding author. He also has contributed to various chapters in different textbooks of nephrology. For his academic
brilliance he has been bestowed with TTS Mentor Mentee award in 2017 and 2018. He has had a very empathic and logical
approach towards his patients since beginning and is compassionate about his role as a Nephrologist. He believes to add
