Awareness talk on kidney health

As a part of Community Out Reach Program for Students (CORPS), an awareness talk was organized for the students of Subodh Public School on 19th January 2017. Championed by Dr. Alok Jain – Senior Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, the session was attended by over 240 students of 9th standard. The talk was focusing on kidney function and its importance in one’s health. The prevalence of kidney diseases, types of kidney problems & their management, diet management, impact of fast food on systems, importance of water & liquids for keeping kidney healthy, prevention of kidney diseases, organ donation were some of the topics discussed during the talk.
