Dr. Rajat Sharma invited as keynote speaker by Indian Army

The Northern Command, Indian Army, invited Dr Rajat Sharma, Consultant, Cardiac Electrophysiology, as a keynote speaker for Sudden Cardiac Death Summit. Dr Sharma spoke about ‘The emerging strategies for Sudden Cardiac Death survivors’. It was a two day meet organized at NSOI, Udhampur, which was attended by cardiologists and physicians of the army including faculty from R&R, CTC and AFMC, Pune. The summit was inaugurated by Lt Gen Velu Nair, PVSM,  AVSM, VSM, PHS, DGMS. Lt Gen D Anbu ,UYSM,YSM,SM.GOC in C was the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sharma discussed about the current lacunae and future strategies for the SCD survivors. The discussion initiated a very constructive GD session. Chief of Staff NC Lt Gen GS Dhillon, AVSM,YSM, SM, inaugurated the scientific session, which displayed the latest AEDs, defibrillators and other life saving gadgets.
