Dr Ashima Bhelotkar joined Fortis as a fulltime consultant in CTVS. She has performed various critical and complex cardiothoracic surgeries over the last 16 years. Her area of special interest includes Off-Pump Total Arterial (Lima-Rima ‘Y’) CABG, minimally invasive Cardiac surgery, Aortic Surgery, Heart Transplant and TAVI, Paediatric and Thoracic Surgery. Dr Bhelotkar completed her MMBS from MGM Medical College, Devi Ahilya University, Indore. She did her MS in General Surgery from SS Medical College and Awadesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. She later pursued DNB ( Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery )from LPS Institute of Cardiology, Kanpur and National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
