Dr. (Prof.) Kameshwar a Prasad Padmashree Awardee is one of the eminent Neurologist experts with 40yrs of working experience in Department of Neurology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Serving as the current member of WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Group (Brain Health), Dr Prasad is having rich experience in latest treatment of neurological disorders like Stroke, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, memory problem, epilepsy, headache, multiple sclerosis, meningitis, parkinson's disease brain TB, acute and chronic neuropathies including Guillain Barre syndrome, spinal muscular atrophies and muscular dystrophies and many others. He is a pioneer of stem cell therapy of stroke and multiple sclerosis in India. Dr. (Prof.) Kameshwar Prasad has made several contributions towards Government of India national programs starting way back in 1997 and pioneered Evidence-Based Healthcare in India. He is Founding President of ‘Indian stroke society’. With his career spanning over 40 Yrs Dr. Prasad represented India at various national & international platform as member or chairperson of many committee. Dr. Prasad is an Expert Member of Multiple Sclerosis International Federation, WHO Meningitis Guidelines Group, World Stroke Organization and World Federation of Neurology.
