Dr. Kapoor has more than 33 years of experience in all aspects of Surgery including Oncology Surgery, Gastrointestinal and Trauma Surgery, General & Laparoscopic Surgery, Robotic Surgery as well as colorectal and pelvic surgery. He has more than 23 years of exclusive experience as a Colorectal Surgeon, which includes the management of all diseases related to colon and rectum including intestinal cancers (colon and rectal cancers), haemorrhoids , fistula, fecal incontinence and inflammatory bowel diseases. He is trained in all laparoscopic and Robotic procedures including laparoscopic/robotic surgery for cancer of the colon and rectum. He also performs laparoscopic surgery of abdominal wall and inguinal hernia. He is an expert on surgical treatment of faecal or anal incontinence. He is an expert on anal sphincter reconstruction. He is also a recipient of the Best Medical Teacher Award from Government of South Australia in 2010.
