With more than 23 years of experience and training out of which 15 years in Spine & Orthopaedics, Dr Ravindra Singh is a competent Orthopaedic Spine Specialist (Surgeon) with a Delhi Medical Council (DMC) license and a National Board (NBE) Degree in Orthopaedics. His MBBS was earned at GSVM Medical College in Kanpur, and his DNB in orthopaedics was earned at Hindu Rao Hospital in Delhi. From Canada and South Korea, Dr. Singh completed international fellowships in adult and paediatric spine surgery.
Before joining Fortis Escorts Hospital, Dr Singh was a spine surgery faculty at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He completed clinical spine fellowships at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, as well as an endoscopic spine fellowship at Nanoori Hospital in Seoul (South Korea).
In addition to traditional spine surgeries, Dr. Singh is experienced in robotic, minimally invasive, and endoscopic spine procedures. Dr. Singh is one of the few spine surgeons in the Delhi-NCR who has had formal and extensive training in endoscopic spine surgery, scoliosis, paediatric and complex spine procedures.
He takes a patient-centered approach to treating spine problems, with no preference for conservative or surgical treatment. Patient education, dialogue, and collaborative decision-making are central to his worldview.
