He obtained his Master’s Degree in General Surgery (1991). He is having 32 years’ experience in the field of Genaral Surgery. He was trained under Senior Consultants in the initial years of his Master’s degree. He worked as Clinical Assistant under Dr. Tehemton E. Udwadia OBE (Order of British Empire), Ex-President, International College of Surgeons. He is privileged of having training of Laparoscopic Surgery from this pioneer Laparoscopic Surgeon of India, also known as the "Father of Laparoscopic Surgery in India". He has been practicing independently as a Consultant in Surgery, since May 1995. He is an expert in managing a wide range of routine and emergency cases. He is also trained in Cardiac and Vascular Surgery. He is also having an experience working in the West (US & UK).
