Basic Life Support Training for Mahindra Swaraj Employees
Basic Life Support (BLS) is a level of medical care which is used for victims of life threatning illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a hospital. It can be provided by trained medical personnel, including emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and by qualified bystanders.
In the same vein, Fortis Hospital Mohali organised a BLS Training at 2 Mahindra Swaraj Plants. The event saw a gathering of 127 people learning how to give high quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of Automated External Defibrillation (AED), High Quality CPR for adults, children and infants and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants.
