Dr Brajesh Kaushle, sports injury specialist (Fortis Hospital, Noida) along with Ms. Hima Das, gold medalist at the IAAF World U20 Championship

Dr. Brajesh Kaushle, Additional Director, Dept of Orthopedics & Joints Replacements at Fortis Hospital, Noida had been to Finland recently as a team doctor for sports injury for the International Association of Athletics Federations - Athletics Junior Team (under – 20). He was selected by the Sports Authority of India and the Athletics Federation of India among many other doctors. Dr. Kaushle was the doctor for Hima Das who created history by winning the gold medal in the women’s 400 metre event at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Finland last week. Hima registered a time of 51.46 seconds in the final at the Ratina Stadium to become the first Indian athlete to win gold in a world championship across all age groups. Dr. Brajesh Kaushle is also a member of the medical commission of the Indian Olympic Association.
