Fortis Hospital Anandapur observes Quality Week and Patient Safety Week

Fortis Anandapur is solely committed to Quality & Patient Safety and thus successfully celebrated the Quality & Patient Safety week from 7th Nov to 12th Nov 2022. The week-long celebration started with a welcome speech by Quality Head, Ms. Banrishisha Basaiawmoit on the theme of this year “Quality Conscience- Doing what is Right” followed by an opening speech from Facility Director- Mr. Ashish Mukherjee, Medical Superintendent- Dr. Anuradha Mazumder, HOD of Anaesthesia- Dr. Sanjay Singh, HOD of Emergency- Dr. Sanjukta Dutta, Infection Control Officer- Dr. Arindam Chakraborty, Chief Nursing Officer- Ms. Doli Biswas and other senior dignitaries. There was a Pledge writing session by all senior leaders & consultants on safe and quality healthcare. There were various sessions conducted by an Eminent speaker, the Director of Critical Care- Dr Yashesh. Paliwal on Medication safety; Session on Quality & Patient Safety by the Director Of General & Laparoscopic surgery- Dr. Ramesh Agarwalla. The programme also had a Poster competition highlighting the best practices and training on how to take up Quality improvement Projects to improve patient care. The week concluded with the Prize distribution to all the participants.
