Fortis Hospital, Anandapur organizes an Inter-school Poster Making competition and an interactive session on Organ Donation
An inter-school poster making competition, followed by an interactive session on ‘Organ Donation’ was recently organized by Fortis Hospital, Anandapur. Students of Class VI-XII from the leading city schools participated in the competition, the aim of which was to generate awareness among people regarding the dire need of organs in our country.
Out of the total 752 entries received, 72 students from 16 leading schools of the city were selected for the finale, which took place at the premises of Fortis Hospitals, Anandapur. The winners received exciting prizes while all the participants received certificates. This competition was followed by the interactive session on Organ Donation.
The interactive session, a part of “Fortis More To Give” initiative, was conducted by The Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences at Fortis Hospital, Anandapur and moderated by Dr. Sanjay Garg, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist-Fortis Hospital, Anandapur. The initiative “Fortis More To Give” is led by Dr. Shivaji Basu, Chief Urologist Fortis Hospital & Kidney Institute, Kolkata, Dr. Raja Dhar, Consultant, Pulmonology, Fortis Hospital, Anandapur, Dr. Aditi Kishore Sarkar, Additional Director of Health Service, Govt. of West Bengal, Sasthya Bhavan, Kolkata.
