Fortis Mohali Observes World Anaesthesia Day & World Trauma Day

To mark World Trauma Day & World Anaesthesia Day, a BLS Workshop was organized in IPD Lobby for the attendants. The workshop was conducted by Dr Sunil Sethi, Head-Emergency & Dr Sunil Gupta, Head-GICU. It was organized for creating community awareness on the basics of adult resuscitation and emergency management of accident victims. Over 50 people attended the workshop. The attendees were educated about the initial assessment of the person seen collapsing or found collapsed and when and how to give CPR. In addition to this, the audience was also taught the basic techniques of  administering first-aid treatment in cases of minor-cuts, epilepsy etc.
