An informative talk on ‘Diabetic Foot’ held for Mohali Senior Citizens Association Members

An informative session on Diabetic Foot was held for the members of Mohali Senior Citizens Association. Dr Ravul Jindal, Director- Vascular Surgery, interacted with a gathering of over 90 members.

Dr. Jindal shared his valuable insights regarding complications of diabetic foot like Callous, Ulcers and Gangrene which leads to Amputation. He informed the audience that diabetic patients should be cautious in case of any wound, as it is really difficult to manage and treat the most complex wounds effectively. With the aging process and existing people with multiple medical conditions make it challenging for pathologies to improve and stay well-equipped to meet the needs of wound care. He also educated the audience about  preventive measures to be taken in case of diabetic foot.

The session was quite interactive as the audience was very receptive. Dr. Jindal clarified various queries raised by the audience. This highly interactive and informative session was well appreciated by the audience.
