Movie screening on the occasion of National Cancer Survivors Day

‘Saluting the Survivors Spirit’, FHM organized a special movie show for the cancer survivors under the aegis of Saarthak - a support group for its cancer patients, on June 5, 2019 at Cinepolis, Bestech Square Mall, Mohali. This event was organized to mark National Cancer Survivors Day which is celebrated on first Sunday of June every year to demonstrate that life after a cancer diagnosis can be a reality. Nearly 80 cancer survivors along with their attendants forgot their worries and enjoyed themselves at an exclusive screening of the movie ‘Bharat’ organized for them.

Dr. Rajeev Bedi, Dr Narendra Bhalla, Dr Naval Bansal, Dr Ketan Dang, Dr Junaid, Dr Abhishek Puri, Dr. Arunjit & onco staff  watched the movie along with the patients and their families. The patients thoroughly enjoyed the movie and were all praise for the event . They appreciated FHM’s efforts for  giving them a chance to  meet other people afflicted with the same disease and exchanging each other’s viewpoints and experiences which have strengthened their resolve to fight this disease.

Last but not the least, our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to  make  this event a success and helped in bringing a few moments of happiness in cancer survivors’ lives.
