Stroke Survivor Support Group meet at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur
On the occasion of World Stroke Day, 2017, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, organized an awareness program for Stroke patients. The aim of the program was to encourage and motivate stroke survivors and create a dedicated Stroke Survivors Support group for them. Dr Neetu Ramrakhiani and Dr Pushkar Gupta shared the concept of F.A.S.T and told the patients about the 4-hour golden rule in managing stroke patients. Mr Prateem Tamboli, Facility Director, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, told the survivors about the recent developments and technological advancements available at the hospital. He also shared the significance of the Neuro-navigation technique. Dr Neerav gave a live demo of the exercises and Dt. Nahid helped the patients with day to day diet pattern. Around 37 stroke survivors participated in the program and few of them shared their success stories and express their gratitude towards the program.
