Walkathon held to create awareness on Organ Donation

To mark the  completion of 25 years since the Transplantation of Human Organs Act, which was passed in the parliament in 1994, Fortis Hospital, Mohali held a walkathon to spread awareness on organ donation. Mr Abhijit Singh- Zonal Director, Dr G B S Kang-Medical Director, Dr H JS Gill, Senior Consultant- Nephrology, Dr Sunil Kumar- Consultant- Renal Transplant,  Dr Amit Sharma, Consultant-Nephrology, Captain Neelam Deswal- Nursing  Head, Sister Rajbir Kaur – Nursing Superintendent,  Dr Bhavna Ahuja- Medical Superintendent along with  nursing staff of the hospital went around the hospital premises holding placards having messages encouraging organ donation among the visitors.
