Fortis to conduct India’s first ever National Quiz Competition on Psychology on 24 August.

The Department of Mental Health & Behavioural Sciences at Fortis Healthcare, under the aegis of Dr. Samir Parikh is organizing India’s first ever exclusive National Quiz competition on Psychology “PSYCH-ED”, for students from Class XI & XII. The quiz will have three rounds, starting with the online round on 24 Aug 2016 within the premises of each school to be followed by six zonal qualifier rounds. The winners of the zonal qualifier rounds will be invited to the finals that will be held in Delhi/NCR. Students from more than 200 schools across more than 40 cities, pan India have registered for the quiz that will test their knowledge of Psychology and allied sciences. The entire event is conceptualized & led by Dr Samir Parikh, Director of Department Mental Health & Behavioural Sciences at Fortis Healthcare.

In the Online round, schools of each zone will pitch against each other. Each school can nominate a team of 5 students from its school). Each school will get one login and all schools in the country will log in at the same time to attempt the quiz. The quiz duration is one hour long - while there is no time limit on each questions, students must answer as many questions as possible in that hour. Winners from each region will advance to the Zonal round. The 6 winners from each zone will then participate in the Finals.
