Fortis Hospital, Vashi and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) join hands to bolster ‘Swachh Navi Mumbai’ initiative

In support of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation(NMMC) joined hands with Fortis Hospital, Vashi, to augment the ‘Swachh Navi Mumbai’ campaign in the city. The cleanup drive aims to engage with Navi Mumbaikars to spread the message about importance of cleanliness and healthy living.

The cleanliness drive is being led by Shri S Chabukswar, Deputy Commissioner, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and Dr Bipin Chevale, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Vashi. Passionate support from the personnel of NMMC along with the stuff of the hospital is complemented by participation of socially-responsible institutions like Lion's Club, APMC (Agricultural Produce Market Committee) and Navi Mumbai Bengali Samaj. Under the initiative, every Saturday one area of the city will be cleaned up. Over 200 volunteers joined hands to clean-up the APMC Masala Market today.
