World Spinal Congress VII,13-17 April 2016

The VII International Conclave for Neuro and Spinal surgeons, “The World Spinal Congress VII” concluded today at Gurgaon. It saw participation from both national and international spinal and neuro surgeons. The objective was to provide enriching, updated content and scientific knowledge so as to deliver an overwhelming inspiring experience to the delegates. Further, an internationally renowned faculty was available for scientific deliberations at the various platforms of social interactions. Overall, the Conference aimed to bring together researchers and medical professionals from across the globe to interact and forge new relationships. The conclave is held once in every two years, with wide participation from global experts in this field.

The event commenced with the “Cadaver Spine Workshop” for neurosurgeons and orthopaedics, organized by the World Spinal Column Society in collaboration with Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. Dr Sandeep Vaishya, Director, Neurosurgery, Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) was one of the key organizers. Prof. Mehmet Zileli, Prof. Edward Benzel, Prof. Salman Sharif, Prof. Douglas Orr and Prof. Abdelfattah Saoud, were part of the distinguished Cadaver Course faculty.
